I teach all levels of Mathematics including primary, 11+, KS3, GCSE and A level. I have taught Maths to A Level and also Further A level standard in a boys grammar school in Chelmsford for 10 years.<\/span><\/p>\n

My sessions are mostly student led. Perhaps a homework, classwork, past paper or recent test could be the subject of the lesson. With the current climate I am happy to teach all aspects of the curriculum.<\/span><\/p>\n

With schools largely closed at the moment perhaps your son or daughter needs structure. I can offer ONLINE lessons via SKYPE as well as in person. I use a tablet to write on in conjunction with ONE NOTE. All the notes from each lesson can be sent as a pdf via email to the student at the conclusion of the lesson.<\/span><\/p>\n

I`ve had plenty of lessons with Andrew. All of our lessons were conducted over skype, skype works great with Andrew as he can utilize his tablet allowing the student to see exactly what he writes. I can highly recommend Andrew as a tutor!<\/span><\/p>\n

Delighted with the help Andrew has given my daughter so far (Maths A-level, lower Sixth form) – she lacked confidence in certain areas & Andrew (via a weekly Skype lesson) has broken these topics down and given her the tools to approach different types of questions. I would add that the Skype-style lesson works fantastically well and Andrew has a very hands-on approach during the lessons, more often than not tacking questions himself in order that he can give best advice with regard how to approach them. My daughter genuinely looks forward to the sessions and finds them incredibly helpful, partcuiarly if something has cropped up at school during the week the she isn\u2019t entirely confident with, she runs this by Andrew who breaks it right down to basics and ensures she understands the concept from scratch. We plan on hopefully using Andrew\u2019s services for our younger son when he does GCSE maths in two years\u2019 time.<\/span><\/p>\n

Maths is definitely a subject that requires practice. I will often work through questions with students, pompting them eventually to tackle exam style questions independently, which is the key to exam success!<\/p>\n
